Hello Everyone ~ Once Again. I have just added some more pictures upon request of friends missing Phoebe and Gianna... It's not as easy getting pictures of them as Xavier, and forget about trying to get a good one all together ;) so here's some more to enjoy. Love you and miss you all~

Thanksgiving in Florida

We hope that you and your families have had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a great time down here in Destin with a visit from Aunt Kristina and Uncle Mark and have just found a free minute to share some pictures.

On Friday we went to Navarre Beach on our way to Pensacola - It was gorgeous! We practically had the place to ourselves and was a 1st for us all spending a day in November on the gulf shore!

On Saturday following THanksgiving Kristina and Dan took the girls for a trip to the USAF Armament Museum and got some fun pictures there too... ENJOY!!!

I went up for the first time with Dan!

I've been "filling-in" where I'm needed to help out over at the hanger and happened to catch a ride along with another couple going on a tour... 2 days ago. It was neat seeing Dan in action! The whole thing about the flight was amazing!!! The actual flying part was like nothing I've ever experienced - I can't wait for us to take the kids up! and neither can they!!!! Dan does an incredible job and instills confidence in anyone a little "wary" about their first time in a helicopter. He's so good with all the people he takes up and it's so funny and neat to see how they respond to him. I hear so often, "We have to get a picture with the pilot!" I'm so proud of him, really!

We had a group from Texas come by last night - 7 of them wanted to go... the next day we had 5 more from the same group... Just the neatest family - we had a lot of fun with them.

Aerial Photography

I just thought you may enjoy seeing what the beaches are like. Dan took up a really great guy who's shared some of his pictures from his 2nd "Aerial Photography Run". They flew around for about 30min. and grabbed some impeccable shots... as you can see! This is what a lot of people are seeing on the majority of the tours Dan flies.

Dan's First Helicopter Tour

I thought for all of you who have been nearly as anxious as we have been to get this company on it's feet, would enjoy a couple video clips and pictures of the first official day in operation! The location is temporarily at the Destin Airport, where just a couple days ago Kenny Chesney flew in for the weekend! HAH! Hope you enjoy seeing Dan in action! Can't say enough how proud I am of all he's accomplished - the beginning of a great adventure! So please keep up your prayers... and know that you're in ours.

Uhlenkotts in Florida

Hello Dear Friends and Family!!!

We have moved AGAIN and have landed (for the time being) in Destin, FL.... for most of you a total shock - "whatever are Dan and Mimi doing in Florida????"

Awhile back many of you may remember the pictures we took of our beautiful trip to Tennessee... and a hope that maybe that's where we'd end up... well, as life, GOD, would have it Tennessee was just a step in the direction of Helicopter Touring... Dan was sure that that would be a great business venture where he could build flying time and make good money and happened to meet down there another pilot who was interested in starting up a touring company - so they pooled their resources together and... here we are... Destin is absolutely beautiful!!! It's on the panhandle - the stunning Emerald Coast - known for it's snow-white beaches and emerald water - - - as well as for it's high-end tourism, of course.

We found out that all things were a go only about 2-3 weeks ago. we found a house to rent in Destin and like the exodus packed and moved out at a pace that i didn't think a family of 5 could move... Dan and the girls drove the uhaul with X and I cruising along in the camry. It was such a fun trip! Heading to Jacksonville, FL the 1st day (blowing only one tire on the uhaul) and straight to Destin the next... into our new little home...

We're right next to the airport - 1mile from Corpus Chrisit, our new parish (our first mass there being on the feast of Corpus Christi :) Kneelers? Tabernacle? Daily Mass? check, check, and check :)) - 1 mile from beaches on one side and 2-3 miles on the gulf side.

It's a little daunting starting things all-over again, but exciting too. Everything new down here... and seeing what God has in store for us. Making new friends, seeing new places... and Dan will be flying... something we've been working and sacrificing for for a LONG time! Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray that this venture... our adventure... is successful - and GOD's Will BE DONE!

WE Love you all and would love to see you all in Destin!!!! We have space for visits this time :) Please come.... the emerald coast is really like nothing i've ever seen!
